The "Bug Play"
An annual tradition at Schofield Elementary School is that the third-grade class puts on the "Bug Play", a combination of a musical performance and science study about insects.
Each third-grade student makes an insect costume. Katie was a Heliconius Doris Linnaeus, more commonly known as the Red Passion Flower butterfly, found in Costa Rica. As a butterfly, she had to come on stage as a caterpiller and morph into her butterfly form.
