Summer 2006 Update
It's been a busy few months, so we are only now getting to update pictures from this past summer.
Whitney, Nicholas, and Katie were able to spend time early this summer at Whitney's parents house in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Nicholas and Katie enjoyed playing in the marsh in front of the house when the high tide came in.
Katie was invited to a friend's Birthday Dress-Up party, complete with hairstyling and makeup.

In July, we took a family vacation north to Quebec, staying first in the city of Montreal and then at our friend Annie Tobias' cottage in the village of La Minerve, located about an hour's drive past Mont Tremblant. The top is a picture of Annie and her dogs Buddy and Tessie, along with Whitney, Katie, and Nicholas. The following picture is the view from the lake at the base of her cottage.
In August, we were invited to spend one evening at Davis Farm in Sterling, Massachusetts. Davis Farm has the largest selection of endangered breeds of farm animals in the US.

For the weekend prior to Katie and Nicholas returning to school, we took for our annual long weekend in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Paul's brother Tom came up from Washington, Pennsylvania, to join us. Along with Santa's Village and Storyland, Paul and Tom spent one day climbing Mount Washington (the highest mountain in the U.S. Northeast), and the entire family braved the rain to hike to Sabbaday Falls in the White Mountain National Forest.
